If you're looking for a story that will help ease a young unicorn fan into sleep, the gentle rhyme and lovely text in this book might do exactly that.
Unicorns are the star of this book, in all sizes, colors and varieties. With the help of a phoenix, the reader is lead to their magical world where other creatures such as trolls and dragons live. The text is simple and in rhyme. Toward the end of the story, a soft repetition takes over making it easy to listen to (as a read aloud).
The illustrations are colorful and made with much thought and love. The unicorns each have their own flair and fun details are sprinkled here and there. Even without the text, little book lovers can glance through them over and over again.
At the end of the book, a fun list of unicorn facts lets unicorn fans learn more about their favorite animal, and on the very last page, the physical attributes of a unicorn are presented.
Summed up, this is great for the youngest unicorn fans. It's easy to read and gentle enough to fit as a bedtime story. And the illustrations fit into sweet dreams.
