MY TIDBITS

In a lovely rhythm which flows almost like a song, this book allows fairies to dance and glisten and fly about.

The text runs mostly smooth and almost takes on the feel of a bedtime rhyme. While it would make a nice last read at the end of the day, it is by no means a book only for sleepy eyes. It's short, sweet, has a vocabulary fitting to younger listeners, and is made for fairy fans. Every page radiates the joy and liveliness often associated with fairies and allow their magic to abound.

The illustrations are bright and energetic. The fairies come to life and offer a large amount of variety while doing all of the things fairies are said to do. I and my children weren't completely won over by the style used in the artwork, but that is really a personal opinion. The illustrations were done with care and do offer the excitement of fairy life.
